I am a post-baccalaureate researcher at the UCI School of Education and hold a B.A. in psychology and anthropology from UC Irvine. As a member of the Digital Learning Lab, I am currently conducting research on the Converse to Learn project. With a focus on addressing disparities, I've gained extensive research experience working with bilingual children and families. My dedication lies in utilizing innovative research methodologies to foster inclusivity through impactful interactions and interventions.
My current research focuses on the integration of conversational agent technologies into children's books and television programs in order to support culturally-engaging dialogic interactions and learning for Latine families.
Research interests: Latine well-being, socio-emotional learning, culturally relevant strength-based interventions, incorporation of technology to enhance children's socio-emotional development and academic achievement
